Nate and Jeanine Garland

Jeanine Garland has a background in Education and a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist. Jeanine always knew she wanted to work with orphans and bring hope to those who have none. Jeanine is a wife and mother of two. She helped organize, chaperone, and lead a mission trip to Trinidad. Jeanine has run the sponsorship program for the children in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, since 2002 and has now added the orphans in Mozambique to the program. She also helps to coordinate the application, interview, and coaching process for people who would like to serve with The Dream Project in Mozambique. Jeanine and her family have a heart for missions and working with orphans and she hopes that someday God would lead her family to work on the field.

Tim Hoerner

Tim Hoerner is the owner of Digicom Global, Inc., a communications company that sells two-way radios, cellular, and satellite phones. He is the past president and current board member of the Troy, Michigan, Boys and Girls Club. Tim also sits on the board of Helping Hearts, Helping Hands. Tim is a Stephen's Minister who has a passion for helping children.
Ann O'Brien

Ann O'Brien currently lives in Troy, Michigan with husband Dan O'Brien and son Danny whom she cares for full-time. She received her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1992 majoring in marketing.
God gave her a heart for "street children" while vacationing in Caracas, Venezuela. As a young girl, she was shocked to see such devastating poverty. She never forgot this experience.
Ann met Julie Malacusky at Kensington Community Church in Troy, Michigan in 1998 and went on a missionary trip to Belo Horizonte, Brazil with her in 2000. Ann and her family currently attend Mount Zion Church in Clarkston, Michigan and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Troy, Michigan.
Karen Moore

Karen is a graduate from Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She is employed by Hotel Investment Services in Troy Michigan, a hotel management and consulting company. Her role as VP of Marketing includes overseeing all sales and marketing initiatives at managed hotels and consulting on property feasibility studies, receiverships, and takeovers. Karen enjoys using her hospitality and marketing skills to help causes that tug at her heart. She has volunteered at Gilda's Club for ten years, is a Big Brother Big Sister mentor, and sponsors children in Bolivia, Lethoso, and Mozambique. Karen is a member of Kensington Community Church and serves on their hospitality and stage management teams.
